Network Management As part of our fully managed service, our support team uses remote management tools to proactively monitor and manage your network infrastructure. By analysing network utilisation and identifying weak points in the infrastructure through both real-time and historical data, proactive monitoring can often resolve potential problems before you even realise they are happening. And as we remotely manage these networks we are able to carry out any necessary changes to configuration without the need for you to intervene or without the need for on-site visits.Our teams have visibility of network traffic flow, with real-time data transfer rates being available at the touch of a button. This visibility of traffic flow on both local area and wide area networks is critically important, as it enables our teams to understand how traffic is flowing between nodes and ensures effective incident and capacity management. This also ensures that high traffic loads can be tackled proactively, to cope with changing demand. Our systems and automatic call logging help our teams to effectively manage your networks. Comprehensive statistics showing device and memory usage for each device on the network enable Redstone Managed Solutions to drill down and investigate any faults or incidents. When a fault is detected a call is automatically logged with our helpdesk, without the need for human intervention. This speeds up the process and means that problems are resolved with a minimum of disruption, often before you are even aware of them. An understanding of network configuration, including routers, switches and servers is critical to ensure that if problems do occur the network can be restored to its optimum performance levels as quickly as possible.
