WebXchange

WebXchange is a secure, flexible, easy to use web-based file transfer system designed for the UK education sector. Access to the Internet, a standard web browser and a user name and password are all that are required to use the service. WebXchange is deployed to schools and colleges from a central site, without the need for dedicated staff to install the system at each individual site.

Files sent using WebXchange are end-to-end encrypted using Secure Socket Layer encryption (SSL) which is incorporated into popular web browsers improving ease of access.

WebXchange provides secure monitored access to an accountable file transfer monitoring system which is not susceptible to man in the middle attacks, unlike using email which is both unsecured and does not provide an auditable trail.
